HOW WE WORK

At Betty McCaul Bridal Outlet all of our wedding dresses are discounted. Yes, you read that right, all of our Wedding Dresses are at up to 65% off of the retail price! We are able to bring you these amazing deals by sourcing ex- sample, discontinued and cancellation gowns and bringing them directly to you. We personally hand pick each dress to make sure that it is in great condition, so that you can have an exquisite wedding dress at huge savings! Therefore the dresses that you see in store are the actual wedding dresses that we have on sale! We don't need to order these in, they are ready to take away with you on the day of purchase!

APPOINTMENTS

We believe that purchasing your dress at a great price shouldn't mean sacrificing your bridal experience. For that reason we run an appointment only service, with each of our appointments lasting up to an hour. This allows you the time, and privacy, to find your perfect wedding dress with your nearest and dearest. We can accommodate no more than two guests per bride on a weekend, and three guests per bride on a weekday, as multiple opinions can make the experience confusing and rather overwhelming for the bride.

There is no charge for standard weekday, evening or weekend appointments- we simply ask that if you no longer need your appointment then you let us know 48 hours in advance so that we can offer it to another bride.

If you have a larger bridal party and would like to visit on the weekend we also offer a small number of Premium appointments each weekend. These are on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to two per day. There is a charge of £25 for these but we book out the whole shop for your appointment allowing you to bring up to four guests.

We aim to offer sample sale prices with a boutique experience!

WHEN SHOULD I VISIT?

As the majority of our dresses are discontinued styles, we only have one of each design in stock. For this reason, most of our brides prefer to schedule any other appointments that they're intending to have before they come and visit us. This puts them in an informed position to a make a decision on the dress during their appointment with us, rather than risking their favourite dress being sold whilst they attend other appointments.

However, we also have some brides who have never tried on dresses before and leave their appointment with us with their dress!

Therefore we cannot tell you when in the dress selection process is best to visit us, but if you're likely to want to visit a few stores then we suggest doing this before your appointment with us.

ALTERATIONS AND SIZING

All of our dresses are sold as seen. As many of our dresses are ex-samples, the most common size is a 12. The dress sizes generally range from a UK 8 to a 16, however you should bear in mind that bridal sizing can come up quite small. If you require a larger size please do get in touch, as although we don't stock these on site we are able to source many styles in a range of sizes and will be happy to help.

We are able to recommend an independent seamstress who can assist with your alterations, or you are welcome to make your own alterations arrangements. Please bear in mind that although we can offer great discounted prices on the dresses, we are unable to do anything about the pricing of alterations- so please do factor this into your budget!

PRICING AND PAYMENTS

The retail prices of our dresses range from £950 to around the £5000 mark, meaning we sell the gowns from £499 upwards. Therefore we have a huge range of dresses to suit any budget! Our accessories are sold at full price, with a few exceptions, and we have a great range to complete any bridal look.

We understand that weddings are expensive, to help you spread the cost we accept deposits on dresses over £500. Once you have paid for your dress you take it home with you ready for alterations, as unfortunately we don't have storage on site.
